History

Calhoun House, named for the town in Columbia Co. where Mr. Couch was born, was also built in 1927. Mr. Couch loved to fish. He had Calhoun built close enough to the lake so he and his friends could fish from the porch. Being so close to the lake will bring breezes up from the cool water below. In the morning there is no better view than this. It has one bedroom, one bath and living room. Mr. Couch stayed at Calhoun frequently so he could fish.
